I have spent many years in the classroom both in well-known country Prep Schools and top London Day Schools, and been Head of two Pre-Preps and a Prep School of over 300 children, preparing hundreds of children for the 11+ exams into London Senior Schools.
I have taught all subjects to all ages from 4 years old, teaching them to read and write, all the way up to 11 or 13 years old when they take their entrance exams to move up to their next school.
Maths, though, has become my specialism over the years, and I have actively sought out the lower "sets" to teach, often fostering a love of maths in a child that never previously existed, through teaching in a clear, accessible way that children understand.
Since setting up The Homework Helpline in 2018, I have helped many children pass their 11+ Maths Exams, and secure places at their first choice of senior school.
